Young girl sang an 80-year-old song – The audience went crazy

“Over the Rainbow” remains a timeless classic, elevated by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s iconic rendition. Recorded spontaneously in 1988, his ukulele-accompanied version captivated audiences worldwide.

Recording engineer Milan Bertosa recalled the surreal experience, stating, “He played and sang, one take, and it was over.”

Despite its popularity, few dare to perform the song live due to its vocal demands. However, when 11-year-old Anna showcased her talent on The Voice Kids, her rendition impressed judges and audiences alike.

Anna’s remarkable confidence and angelic voice marked her as a budding star. Witness her stunning performance in the video below.

“Over the Rainbow” continues to resonate across generations, immortalizing its place in musical history.
