My Husband Refused to Take Photos of Me on Our Vacation — His Reason Shocked Me, but My Revenge Left Him in Tears

Hi everyone, Hannah here. This is hard to share, but I need to. I’m a 38-year-old mom of two kids (seven and five) and have been married to Luke for nearly a decade. We’ve had our ups and downs, but something happened on our recent trip to Mexico that shocked me deeply.

In beautiful Mexico, I noticed Luke acting weird. He refused to take pictures of me, saying, “I’m not in the mood.” One evening, I asked for a sunset photo, and he snapped, “Not now, Hannah.” I felt hurt and confused.

When he was in the shower, I checked his phone. His messages mocked my weight. Devastated, I posted my own photos on Facebook, hinting at the issue. The support was overwhelming.

When I confronted Luke, he suggested using an inheritance to lose weight. I decided to divorce him. Now, I’m focusing on my kids and myself, regaining my confidence and self-worth. What do you think? Did I handle it right?
