My Husband Put up a Poster of His Ex-Wife in the Kitchen to Motivate Me to Lose Weight — I Made Him Regret It

When I walked into the kitchen, I was shocked to see a poster of my husband’s ex-wife on the fridge. What began as a cruel “motivational” tactic quickly became a plan he’d deeply regret.

I woke up exhausted from a sleepless night with Ava. Hoping for some peace, I headed to the kitchen, only to be met by Monica’s glaring image.

“Morning, babe,” Eric said, not looking up from his phone.

“Don’t call me babe. What’s this?” I pointed at the picture, my voice trembling.

He shrugged. “Just a little motivation. To remind you what a real woman looks like.”

Stunned and furious, I couldn’t find the words. Eric sipped his coffee nonchalantly.

Later, overwhelmed, I contacted Monica. We devised a plan: she would move in for a few days while I stayed with my parents.

When Eric returned home, he was baffled to see Monica with her suitcase. “What’s going on?”

“Just thought you’d enjoy some company,” I said, leaving with Ava. Eric’s smugness soon turned to desperation as Monica’s presence upended his life, making him realize his cruel mistake.
