GOP Senator Suffers Seizure, Brain Bleed After Falling On Ice

North Dakota Republican Sen. Kevin Cramer is recovering at home after suffering a seizure, a severe concussion, and a minor brain bleed from a fall on ice. Cramer said he slipped while retrieving a piece of conduit near his dock and hit the back of his head. He blacked out and was taken to the ER by his wife, Kris.

Doctors treated his head wound with staples and admitted him overnight for observation. Cramer reported ongoing headaches but noted improvement in his condition. He is resting and unsure when he’ll return to Washington, D.C.
