Chiefs Coach Says Kenny Chesney & Oak Ridge Boys Are More His Style Than Taylor Swift

Kansas City Chiefs’ Coach Andy Reid recently clinched another Super Bowl win for his team, but when it comes to music, he’s more into country than pop. Despite Taylor Swift dating Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce, Reid admits he’s not familiar with her music. He confessed to CBS, “I have no idea about the Taylor Swift songs.” Instead, Reid prefers country tunes, particularly Kenny Chesney and the Oak Ridge Boys.

While Swift celebrated on the field with Kelce after the Super Bowl victory, Reid’s musical taste veers elsewhere. However, he holds no ill will towards Swift, stating, “I like Taylor Swift because I’ve known her a long time…but that’s not my genre.” The Oak Ridge Boys appreciated Reid’s shout-out, sharing his interview clip on social media.

Regarding Swift and Kelce’s relationship, Reid supports them, noting it hasn’t caused any issues with the team. He praised Swift’s handling of the situation, saying, “She’s a good girl… She loves the game, and obviously loves Kelce. So I’m happy for both of them.”
