Teen Boy Cleans Old Woman’s Yard All Day, after Which All the Neighbors Gather near Her House – Story of the Day

A teenage boy named Leo decided to use his free time to clean up an elderly woman’s messy yard instead of hanging out with his friends. The next day, the old woman, Abigail, left her house for the first time in months. Her neighbors gathered around, curious about what had happened.

Leo and his friends usually spent their afternoons playing basketball. During winter, Leo noticed one house on their block with an unattended yard. Being a neat freak, it always bothered him.

One day, as the snow melted, revealing leaves and trash, Leo couldn’t ignore it any longer. “You guys go ahead,” he told his friends. “I can’t stand seeing this yard dirty.”

None of his friends stayed to help, so Leo got to work alone, spending the entire afternoon cleaning. Abigail, who had been unable to leave her house due to the snow, was delighted.

The neighbors, feeling guilty, thanked Leo and decided to keep their street clean together from then on.
