My 4-Year-Old Son Got Extremely Upset Every Time My MIL Babysat Him – When I Found Out Why, I Got Revenge

Zoe, a dedicated nurse, often relied on her mother-in-law, Denise, to babysit her son, Leo, given her husband Andrew’s unpredictable hours. Despite Denise’s sometimes overbearing nature, Zoe appreciated her help. Denise would often remind her, “It’s a grandmother’s duty.”

Recently, Leo started acting strangely around Denise, clinging to Zoe and hiding when she arrived. One evening, Leo tearfully revealed that Denise was trying to “put something in his mouth,” which turned out to be a cotton bud for a DNA test. Denise, suspicious of Leo’s blonde hair, had secretly sought to confirm his paternity without Zoe’s knowledge.

Furious, Zoe confronted Denise, who admitted her doubts about Leo’s parentage. Shocked and hurt, Zoe asked Denise to leave, needing time to process what had happened. The tension grew between Zoe and Andrew as Denise sowed seeds of doubt in Andrew’s mind. Despite initial hesitation, Andrew suggested they do the DNA test to settle the matter. Zoe agreed but only on the condition that Andrew also take a test to confirm his own paternity.

The results confirmed that Leo was indeed Andrew’s son, but there was an unexpected twist—Andrew’s test revealed that his biological father was not the man he had believed him to be all his life.

This revelation led Andrew to distance himself from Denise, who confessed to having had an affair in her youth. Zoe and Andrew decided to focus on their family, leaving Denise’s drama behind.
