Fans Are in Awe of Al Roker’s 4-Month-Old Granddaughter: ‘Looks Just like Her Mom’

Beloved “Today” anchor and weatherman Al Roker, 69, experienced a health scare last year, battling a blood clot in his leg. Thanks to excellent medical care and his wife Deborah’s support, he made a successful recovery and returned to the show earlier this year.

Al and Deborah celebrated 28 years of marriage and became first-time grandparents when their daughter, Courtney Roker Laga, and her husband, Wes Laga, welcomed their baby girl, Sky Clara, on July 3. Al couldn’t contain his joy, saying, “It is magical…almost 35 years ago I held her mom, you know, and here she is…and she’s just perfect.”

Recently, Al proudly shared a magazine cover featuring his daughter and granddaughter, with fans marveling at Sky’s striking resemblance to her mom. Comments poured in, with one fan saying, “Beautiful, baby looks just like her mom,” and another swooning over the adorable baby.

In addition to celebrating his improved health, Al Roker is now cherishing the new addition to his family and the joy of being a grandpa.
