On a busy Monday morning, 29-year-old Caleb is engrossed in his company’s annual report when a janitor, a woman in her late 50s, enters. Caleb is shocked by her uncanny resemblance to his late mother. Introducing herself as Michelle, the woman claims to have amnesia, unable to remember anything from over 20 years ago.

Curious and unsettled, Caleb persuades Michelle to take a DNA test. The results confirm that Michelle is indeed his mother. Caleb confronts his father, William, who eventually confesses to attempting to kill his wife, Jennifer, fearing a tarnished reputation and financial loss. Jennifer had survived and lost her memory.
