I Found Out My Husband Tells Everyone I’m His Kid’s Nanny He Doesn’t Fire out of Pity — I Took Full Revenge Soon After

When Megan goes to her husband’s office, ready to surprise him with his favorite takeout for lunch, his receptionist reveals a secret. Suddenly, Megan finds out that she’s been demoted from wife to mere nanny, allowing her husband to run free in his office.

Recently, I found out that my husband tells everyone that I am his kid’s nanny. A nanny who he doesn’t fire out of pity.

It was an ordinary day, and I thought I would surprise my husband with lunch from his favorite fast-food joint. We had both been working long hours lately and hadn’t had time to catch up.

This was my first time at Ben’s new office, and I couldn’t wait to surprise him.

I walked in, and an incredibly friendly woman at the reception greeted me.

“You’re Mr. Link’s nanny, right? Is something wrong with the kids? Should I buzz him, or do you want to go straight up?” she asked.

I almost dropped the food. “Excuse me? I’m his wife, Megan Link,” I said.

Her eyes widened in shock.
