I Dropped My Naughty Kids at My Parents’ Home — I Was Shocked When They Were Good as Gold When I Picked Them Up

When Cara and her husband get an invitation to an adult-only party, they eagerly welcome the break from their three kids. Thankfully, Cara’s parents are ready to babysit. But when Cara and Jason return to fetch the kids, they’re shocked by the change in their behavior.

“Are you sure the kids will be okay?” Jason asks as Cara searches her closet.

“Yes!” Cara assures him. “They’ll be fine with my parents.”

“They’re a handful,” Jason notes.

“They’ll be fine,” Cara repeats.

Their kids, Simon, Max, and Lily, are a lot to handle. But the couple looks forward to the party, excited for adult company and a break from parenting.

Upon returning, they brace for chaos but are surprised to find the kids calm and content. Simon and Max share stories of building a dollhouse with Grandpa and cooking with Grandma.

Cara and Jason are amazed at their kids’ newfound calmness and gratitude towards her parents for the break and their loving care.
