I Cut My Bachelorette Party Short When I Found Out My Fiancé’s Ex Attended His Bachelor Party

Chaos erupted at my bachelorette party when a video of my fiancé, Stefan, with his ex-girlfriend surfaced. What was meant to be a harmless prank spiraled out of control, revealing cracks in our relationship.

My friends and I were relaxing at a spa resort in the countryside, while Stefan was having his bachelor party at his parents’ country house.

“Nancy, can you believe it? In a week, you’ll be married,” said Elsa, grinning at me. “I know, it’s surreal,” I replied.

Elsa’s phone buzzed, and I saw a video of Stefan with his ex, Linda. My heart sank. “We need to go there. Now.”

We drove to a nearby hardware store and grabbed smoke bombs. At Stefan’s party, I tossed one into the gazebo. Panic ensued, and a fire broke out.

“This is what you get for cheating on me with your ex!” I screamed. Stefan explained it was a prank; Linda was performing a comedy routine.

Realizing my mistake, I felt ashamed. Stefan needed space to think, and we called off the wedding. I had a lot to work on, but I hoped we’d find our way back to each other.
