I Went on a Honeymoon Instead of My Sister, Only to Find out I Would Spend It With My Enemy — Story of the Day

Sarah walked into Nina’s apartment and found her sister looking pale and weak on the couch. Nina’s husband, Mark, sat nearby, holding his stomach.

“Hey, Nina, how are you feeling?” Sarah asked, concerned.

Nina groaned. “Not good. Mark and I both got severe food poisoning from the wedding dinner.”

“That’s awful. Can I get you anything?” Sarah offered.

Nina shook her head. “Actually, we need to talk. Mark and I can’t go on our honeymoon. We’re too sick. Maybe you could go instead?”

Sarah frowned. “Me? Go on your honeymoon? No, Nina, that’s your trip.”

“Please, Sarah. We don’t want it to go to waste. Just go,” Nina insisted.

After a moment of hesitation, Sarah nodded. “Alright, I’ll go.”

At the airport, Sarah bumped into Todd. “What are you doing here?” she asked.

“Mark suggested I take the trip instead,” Todd replied.

“Nina suggested I go,” Sarah countered.

“Looks like we’re going together,” Todd said.

“Great,” Sarah muttered.
