Candace Cameron Bure Does Not Back Down Over Backlash On ‘Inappropriate’ Pictures With Husband

Candace Cameron Bure sparked online chatter recently, not only for her views on “traditional marriage” but also for a playful photo of her marriage. She and Valeri Bure met in 1994 at a hockey game, marrying on June 22, 1996. Despite nearly 20 years together, their passion endures.

However, a lighthearted photo Candace shared on Instagram drew criticism, seen as inappropriate for her Christian image. Responding in a video, she remained unapologetic, emphasizing their strong, fun-filled relationship. She defended, “I’m glad that we have fun together after so many years,” highlighting the joy of a healthy marriage.

In a follow-up Instagram story, Candace reaffirmed her stance, expressing humor and affection for her husband. She quipped, “He can touch me any time he wants and I hope he does,” portraying their enduring love and playful dynamic.
