Am I Wrong for Kicking My Future Daughter-in-Law Out of My House after Her Demands?

A 48-year-old woman shared on Reddit that her relationship with her future daughter-in-law deteriorated after an incident. The daughter-in-law demanded the woman’s emerald ring as an heirloom engagement ring, on top of wedding expenses. The woman refused, leading to a heated argument where the daughter-in-law stormed out with her son. The son sided with his fiancée, claiming it would’ve been a nice gesture. The woman’s husband and daughter support her, but she’s shocked by her son’s behavior, as it’s the first time he’s sided against her.
