People Who Keep Secrets From Their Spouses and Plan to Never Tell

We often think we know our spouse best, but sometimes, we keep secrets. One woman shared how she kept a minor secret from her husband.

During dinner at a restaurant, her phone battery was low, so she turned it off to save power. Later, on the way home, she realized she couldn’t find her phone and began to panic. She searched her bag and the car but couldn’t find it anywhere. In a state of panic, she convinced her husband to drive an hour back to the restaurant.

Once there, the manager helped them search the place. Her husband was frustrated, but they searched everywhere. In the middle of it all, she felt something in her jacket pocket. To her surprise, her phone had been there the entire time.

Embarrassed by her mistake and not wanting to admit it, she decided to keep it a secret. “I didn’t want to admit it,” she explained, feeling ashamed for making him drive back. Instead, she pretended to check the restroom and came back with an excuse. “It was on the toilet tank,” she said, hiding the truth.

To this day, her husband has no idea that the phone was with her all along. She’s chosen to keep it a secret to avoid further embarrassment.
