Robert Irwin gets bitten in the face by same species snake which attacked late dad Steve Irwin – scary resemblance

Inheriting Steve Irwin’s passion for wildlife, Bindi and Robert Irwin carry on their father’s conservation legacy. Robert, like his dad, captures encounters with nature on camera. Recently, he shared a striking similarity with Steve, posting a video on Instagram. The footage features Steve getting bitten by a python years ago, while Robert, in a déjà vu moment, handles the same snake, enduring bites on his nose and eyebrow.

“Déjà vu. Dad and me getting bitten by the same species of snake (carpet python) decades apart,” Robert shares. In the video, he explains, “I got a little too close, so he gave me a bite. They’ve got extremely sharp teeth like little needles.”

This fearless approach echoes the Irwin family’s commitment to wildlife. Steve’s wife, Terri, along with Robert and Bindi, continues his legacy at the Australia Zoo. Despite Steve’s tragic death in 2006, his children honor him. Robert, who was just 2 years old at the time, now reflects on Father’s Day, cherishing memories and working passionately to preserve his father’s memory.
