‘There’s Something Inside!’ Boy Cries after Sitting on Old Sofa Late Granny Left Him – Story of the Day

Kevin, a ten-year-old boy, is shocked when he discovers a hidden box in the old sofa he inherited from his Granny. The box contains a letter and legal documents that reveal startling truths about his family, forcing Kevin to make a life-changing decision.

Kevin eyed the shabby sofa Granny left him. Despite its worn state, it held memories. “I’m going to miss Granny,” he whispered, touching a dark stain from a juice spill he once caused. Granny had been more concerned with refilling his drink than the sofa’s damage.

Dad, however, was indifferent. “It’s junk,” he scoffed. Kevin disagreed, seeing it as a cherished memory.

When Kevin sat on the sofa, he felt something hard. Investigating, he found a hidden box with “For Kevin” written on it in Granny’s handwriting. Inside were legal papers and a letter warning him that his father might only be interested in inheritance. Kevin realized he had to make a tough choice about his future.
