My Wife Told Me Tо Abandon My Daughter and Move out for a Few Weeks — When I Found out Why, It Made Me Speechless

When my wife told me to abandon our three-year-old daughter and move out for a few weeks, I was stunned and confused. Little did I know, her request was a cover for something far more shocking.

I’m Jake, a 32-year-old dad, and my world revolves around my daughter, Allie. She’s three and the apple of my eye. Every morning, she wakes up with a big smile, calling out, “Daddy!” I scoop her up, and we head to the kitchen for breakfast, where I make her favorite pancakes.

Sarah, my wife, started feeling left out. One evening, she pulled me aside, saying I needed to move out for a few weeks so Allie could bond with her. Reluctantly, I agreed.

Staying at my friend’s house was hard. I missed Allie terribly. On the fifth day, I decided to surprise her with a Happy Meal. But when I arrived home, I found Sarah with her coworker, Dan. Her request wasn’t about bonding with Allie; it was about being with Dan.
