My Sister Ruined My Birthday Due to Her Obsession with Diet Culture — I Didn’t Let It Slide

Madeleine’s birthday took a surprising turn when her sister Fiona’s diet obsession disrupted the celebration. Determined not to let her special day be ruined, Madeleine decided on a bold move to give Fiona a taste of her own medicine.

“Fiona, can you help with the birthday party?” Madeleine asked, relief washing over her as Fiona agreed cheerfully.

“Sure, I’ll handle the decorations and food,” Fiona replied, assuring everything would be perfect. Madeleine felt at ease, trusting Fiona’s eye for detail.

However, upon returning from the supermarket, Madeleine and her fiancé Albert were shocked to find the table filled with vegetables, rice cakes, and 0% yogurt instead of a BBQ feast. Even the cake was a watermelon with candles.

Infuriated but composed, Madeleine ordered pizzas and burgers to save the party. When Fiona complained, Madeleine served her a towering plate of rice cakes and veggies, making a pointed remark about healthy eating.

The party continued successfully, and Fiona quietly left, learning a valuable lesson about boundaries.
