My Husband Made a Menu and Demands That I Cook Him Meals from It Every Day

Sarah believed her marriage was strong until the night she found a gourmet menu on the fridge, instructing her to prepare elaborate meals after tiring days at work. This discovery led to a confrontation that unveiled significant issues in their relationship.

Despite her demanding job as a project manager, Sarah managed household chores and occasional social outings. Her husband, Tom, an accountant with regular hours, often complained about stress. Sarah’s love for him made her take on more responsibilities without complaint.

However, the menu was the tipping point. Tom expected Sarah to cook intricate dishes after her long workdays. She felt overwhelmed and texted him about it, to which he casually replied, assuming she could handle it.

Sarah decided to teach Tom a lesson. She hired a chef to prepare the meals and paid him with Tom’s savings for a new car. This move shocked Tom and made him realize the unrealistic expectations he had placed on Sarah. They eventually agreed to share responsibilities, leading to a more balanced and understanding partnership.
