My Fierce Rival Crashed My Wedding and Took the Microphone, I Tensed Up – Story of the Day

On my wedding day, I was overjoyed until my rival, Mary, crashed the event and took the microphone. “Hi, everyone. Nobody invited me, but I’m here to talk about something very important,” she began. I tensed up immediately.

The wedding was in full swing when Mary, my husband’s self-proclaimed lover, appeared. “Why did she come here? I told you not to invite her!” I angrily told Tom.

Tom gave me an awkward smile. “Calm down, darling. Such a trifle can’t affect our wedding!”

Before I could finish, the guests chanted, “KISS! KISS! KISS!”

Tom and I kissed until the toastmaster interrupted, announcing the bouquet toss. I heard compliments about my dress as I positioned myself. I threw the bouquet, shocked to see Mary catch it. She smiled, but I walked away, feeling uneasy.

At the microphone, Mary said, “I came to say … words of greeting. Be happy!” She presented a gift. I whispered, “Did you come just to give us a gift?”

“Yes,” she replied. “I know Tom loves you. Stay happy forever.”

Tom later revealed he knew about my past and loved me anyway. Our relationship thrived on love and trust. We had twins, and Tom loved all our children unconditionally. This story taught me that true relationships are built on love and trust, not just blood.
