My Father-in-Law Humiliated a Waiter, but Karma Struck When He Least Expected It

My husband Sam, and I, Linda, were dining with my father-in-law, Benjamin, at his “favorite” restaurant. He ordered an excessive amount of food. When the waiter brought our meals, Benjamin hid one burger and loudly accused the waiter of shortchanging him. The waiter, maintaining her composure, promised to bring another burger.

However, upon returning home, Benjamin realized his wallet was missing. Panicked, he called the restaurant, only to learn that unclaimed items were donated to charity after an hour. The waiter confirmed his wallet was donated, teaching him a harsh lesson about his behavior. This incident sparked a transformation in Benjamin, turning him from a source of strife to a catalyst for unity in our family.
