Kelly Osbourne has fired back at trolls who criticized her appearance at the 2026 Brit Awards, calling out what she described as “cruelty and dehumanization.” The 41-year-old attended the prestigious ceremony alongside her mother, Sharon Osbourne, to accept a Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of her father, Ozzy Osbourne. Following the event, social media users questioned her body, prompting Osbourne to share a post addressing the backlash.
“There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.” Osbourne emphasized that she is “currently going through the hardest time in my life” and said, “I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!” She reminded her followers that doubting her pain and spreading her struggles as gossip only reveals a “profound absence of compassion.”
