Jennifer Love Hewitt Labeled ‘Unrecognizable’ By Fans In These New Pics

Jennifer Love Hewitt, 44, is speaking openly about the challenges of aging in Hollywood.

On Michael Rosenbaum’s Inside of You podcast, the 9-1-1 star addressed recent backlash after posting a filtered selfie that led critics to call her “unrecognizable.” She explained she simply wanted better lighting after a hair appointment, but the internet accused her of hiding signs of aging. Hewitt even joked with exaggerated filters, yet criticism continued.

She admitted the negativity hurts, especially as a mother to a young daughter: “It’s damaging to tell women they must look 22 forever.” While most fans are kind, she reflected on early insecurities and being sexualized as a teen. Now, she says firmly: “I’m 44, and this is what I look like.”
