I Wanted to Surprise My Mother with a Visit, but Was Shocked to See My Ex-husband Sleeping in Her Bedroom

I wanted to surprise my mom on her birthday, but the real surprise was on me. When I opened the bedroom door, I found my ex-husband asleep in her bed! Could they be… together?

Hi, I’m Tara, and like a good daughter, I decided to surprise my mom for her birthday. She loves daisies, so I picked up a fresh bouquet from the flower shop where I work.

I drove to her house, knowing she would still be at work, and let myself in. But when I entered, I saw men’s shoes by the door. Confused, I followed the sound of male snoring to her bedroom. To my shock, my ex-husband, Luther, was asleep in her bed.

Had she been seeing him behind my back? I felt betrayed. I decided to wait for her to come home. When she arrived, she explained that Luther had shown up drunk, thinking I still lived there. It was a misunderstanding, but it led to Luther and me reconnecting and eventually remarrying.
