I Spotted My Husband at Lunch Instead of His Business Trip & Decided to Find Out Who He’s Waiting For

Jane was looking forward to a catch-up lunch with her colleagues. With her husband away on a work trip, she could finally relax. But when she arrived at the restaurant, she got more than she ordered.

All I wanted was grilled calamari and garlic bread, sipping wine while chatting with my colleagues. But fate had other plans.

It started innocently enough. We walked into our regular lunch spot, a bunch of married professionals ready to vent about our spouses and work. I was blissfully unaware of the storm brewing.

Seated at our reserved table, I glanced around and saw him—my husband, Tom. He was supposed to be on a business trip but was here, typing on his phone with a mysterious smile.

My mind raced. Who was he texting? A lover? My overactive imagination went into detective mode.

Then, a man handed Tom an envelope. Inside were photos of me. Tom was plotting to frame me as a cheater to get everything in our prenup.

But the twist? Tom was the one cheating. He wanted everything to start a new life with her. Little did he know, the courtroom was my domain. His plan backfired, and I emerged stronger, wiser, and free.

And no, I didn’t get my calamari and garlic bread.
