Blueberries take 2 years to start producing fruit and 3 to 5 years for a full crop. To speed up the process, buy a mature plant. Harvest between June and August when the berries are blue and fall easily into your hand. If they don’t come off easily, wait a few more days. After harvest, prune dead branches and low-hanging areas to encourage future growth.
