Every Babysitter Quit after Meeting My Husband – So I Hid a Nanny Cam to Find Out Why

When three babysitters quit after just one day, Sarah knew something was wrong. Determined to uncover the truth, she set up a hidden camera and what she discovered left her stunned.

Sarah had just hired a new babysitter, Rachel, after Megan, the previous one, quit suddenly. “This is the third babysitter who’s quit after just one day,” Sarah confided to her friend Julie, frustrated and confused. Julie suggested that it might not be the job driving them away but something—or someone—else in the house.

The next day, instead of going to work, Sarah watched the live feed from the nanny cam she had hidden in the living room. At first, everything seemed normal until Dave, her husband, came home early. “Can I talk to you for a second?” he asked Rachel, who was caught off guard.

Sarah listened in shock as Dave lied to Rachel, saying Sarah was struggling with postpartum depression and that the kids could be a handful. “If you want to leave quietly, it might be best,” he suggested, leading Rachel to quit.

Confronting Dave the next morning, Sarah learned that he had sabotaged every babysitter, not wanting her to return to work. Devastated by his betrayal, Sarah packed her things and left, realizing she needed to take control of her life for herself and her kids.
