Country music star Lauren Alaina has postponed upcoming performances to grieve the loss of her father. On social media, the “Road Less Traveled” singer shared, “We lost my dad last night, and I really don’t have words yet.”

Alaina informed her fans that she will not be performing at shows in Savannah, Virginia Beach, and Charlotte, choosing to spend time with her family. “I will be spending time with my family at home,” she wrote, thanking supporters for their “prayers and understanding.”

Several country music stars offered their condolences. Jake Owen wrote, “Lauren, I’m so sorry for your loss. From my family, love and strength to you.” MacKenzie Porter added, “We will keep you and your family in our prayers,” while Martina McBride shared, “Sending you so much love.”

A few weeks before his passing, Alaina celebrated her father on Father’s Day with a heartfelt Instagram post, “To ‘my old man’ with a heart the size of Texas, happy Father’s Day!!”

Alaina, who was on tour with Jason Aldean, has not revealed the cause of her father’s death.
