Authorities in Utah have revealed more details about the motives behind the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.
The suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, reportedly grew increasingly political in recent years, culminating in a fatal attack at Utah Valley University on September 10. Kirk was shot and killed during a public event organized by his group, Turning Point USA.
According to Governor Spencer Cox, Robinson had previously expressed disdain for Kirk’s political views. During a recent family dinner, Robinson discussed Kirk’s upcoming visit to the university, allegedly saying the commentator was “full of hate and spreading hate.” His family described a shift in his behavior, noting that he had become more radicalized over time.
