Beloved ‘Little House On The Prairie’ Actor Passed Away

Melissa Gilbert, Lilley’s former co-star on Little House on the Prairie, confirmed his passing in a heartfelt tribute on social media on March 21. She reflected on the profound impact he had not only on the show but on her personal life, recalling how he guided her through key moments on set.

One of Gilbert’s fondest memories involved learning to ride horses under Lilley’s patient instruction. She remembered bounding up to him as a child, excitedly asking, “Can we go ride? Please, please, please?”
