A woman’s car that disappeared with her daughter 23 years ago has been discovered

Authorities reported this week that a woman’s automobile from 23 years ago, when she and her child went missing in Arkansas, had human remains inside.

Adventures With Purpose, a nonprofit organization dedicated to solving unsolved cold cases around the country, discovered Samantha Jean Hopper’s automobile on Tuesday in eight feet of water, according to a statement from the Pope County Sheriff’s Office.

On September 11th, 1998, Hopper was reported missing.

According to a statement from the sheriff’s office, Samantha was en route to Little Rock to drop off her daughter Courtney Holt before attending a show. However, we were unable to locate Samantha, her child, or her blue Ford Tempo.

A philanthropic group discovered a car submerged eight feet underwater. Human remains inside will undergo DNA testing at the Arkansas State Crime Lab. The Sheriff’s Office expressed condolences and gratitude.
